Daily Prompt 14 December 2022

I never liked performing, presenting or giving a speech before a large group. Every year in elementary school I used to have a lot of anxiety for the school plays, and I tried to get the smallest role. Yet, when I discovered YouTube (in 2005, almost immediately after the launch of the platform) I started having this dream of making a first YouTube video and talking about the things I love. Unfortunately, my shyness stood in the way, and only in 2020 I finally dared to make the first steps and upload a video.

I still dread to talk before a large group (especially if it is a group full of strangers), which I have to do often for my study. It is not something that I can get used too. Writing is different, I love it 🙂
